The Parish Council is actively working with West Northants Council, emergency services, and local businesses to address the issues caused by Storm Bert. These challenges are being treated as a priority.

๐ง ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE ๐ง
Chacombe Road, Middleton Cheney has been closed by Thames Water due to a collapsed sewer. Repairs are underway, and the road is expected to remain closed until 6th December 2024.

๐ณ Tree & Wall Updates ๐ณ
- Middleway Alleyway: West Northamptonshire Council will attend to the fallen tree blocking the footpath. Affected allotment tenants please speak with the Clerk once the tree has been cleared.
- Cemetery Storm Damage: Trees have been damaged and are obstructing the South West field gate entrance. Remedial work is scheduled at the earliest opportunity, and Chenderit will issue updates directly about restricted access to the gate over the next couple of days.
- Collapsed Wall: West Northamptonshire Council will address the collapsed wall. The Parish Council has emphasised the seriousness of this issue, and WNC Cllr Rosie Herring is actively pursuing further investigation.
